Madman turns to distributing games
Madman Entertainment has swallowed up Funtastic and will form Madman Interactive
Funtastic Interactive has been integrated and rebranded as Madman Interactive as the distributor expands its portfolio to more than just movies, TV shows and Anime. “To be integrated & rebranded as Madman Interactive makes perfect business sense and from a cultural view point we couldn’t ask for a better fit” said Gavin Wulfsohn, Business Manager – Interactive. “The entire team is genuinely excited to be part of Madman Entertainment and we believe this will further strengthen our appeal and credibility throughout the industry worldwide.”
If you’re wondering who just Funtastic was they’re the fine people who have brought such games as Spectrobes, Pure and a range of Disney games to Australia. They also have Giana Sisters, Sacred 2 – Fallen Angel, Cursed Mountain, Divinity II – Ego Draconis & Split / Second among others on the way. Of course all of Disney Interactive Studios’ games will still be heading our way.
