More than a year since its debut in November the Wii is still attracting huge numbers. But Nintendo is struggling to keep up with demand, even with more than 1.7 million Wiis being manufactured a month. Nintendo ensure that this shortage will not hinder them in any way and that fear of consumers jumping ship to another system does not exist. Unfortunately demand is so hot that many people in the ever growing lines are sent away empty handed resulting in another Christmas without a Wii under the green tree.
