The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has gone gold

Just over three weeks away now.

Work on the The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has been completed, finished – or to use industry parlance – gone gold. Nintendo however didn’t make a big song and dance about it, instead we only know (not just because the game is three weeks away) but because of a tweet from Monolith Soft’s Yasuyuki Honne.

Monolith Soft worked alongside Nintendo to create the huge open world in Breath of the Wild. Here’s a picture from the party;

If you look closely at the back of the room you can see the greying of Eiji Aonuma, Shigeru Miyamoto and a treasure chest. We wonder what it contains? Devilish Brain Training.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild releases on the Wii U and Nintendo Switch on March 3rd.
