The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo get price hike over previous amiibo

Ouch.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild amiibo are going to cost a little more than ‘standard’ amiibo when they launch on March 3rd.

The newly announced Zelda, Bokoblin and both the Archer and Rider amiibo will draw a $21.95 premium. Previously amiibo have had a retail price of $17.95. EB Games have updated their site with the final price as of earlier today. We’ve confirmed this isn’t some sort of ‘EB tax’ either and other retailers will have that price too (unless they discount).

The massive Guardian amiibo is also $29.95, however seeing how much bigger that one is that’s perhaps a little more understandable.

All of the Breath of the Wild amiibo are out on March 3rd.
