Konami has announced that Mindscape Asia Pacific here in Australia will be the distributor for their games in the future. This means that Silent Hill: Shattered Memories for Wii (out next month), Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow will now be distributed by Mindscape.
"We are delighted to be working with a publisher of Konami’s reputation in a year when they have such strong releases," says Tony Hughes, Managing Director Asia & Pacific for Mindscape. "We look forward to launching the new games and showing our skills at bringing such triple-A titles to the Australian market."
Konami also had similar nice things to say about Mindscape in return saying “Their knowledge of the Australian market and expert team will help us make huge inroads in a year when Konami has some of the most exciting and innovative titles. We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship.”
Without Namco Bandai finally $79 DS games and the erratic releases for Konami’s Metal Gear games can be put to rest.
