Konami details its Nintendo 3DS line-up
Four months out from release, Konami lets us know what they have in store
Overnight Konami issued press releases detailing their upcoming Nintendo 3DS line-up. Were still at least four months away from the Japanese launch of the console and at least five from the rest of the world. But hey, best to get in early. Konami says that they have four games on the way, Metal Gear Solid: Snake Eater we already know, but now Konami says that they have a Pro Evolution Soccer title on the way, a new Frogger game and, weirdly, a new Contra game.
Considering this press release is specifically for Europe, its good to see Contra confirmed after PAL regions missed out on the excellent Contra 4 on the Nintendo DS.
“The chance to explore popular franchises such as Metal Gear Solid, Pro Evolution Soccer, Contra and Frogger within a 3D realm is an exciting opportunity, and we cannot wait to share more news in the coming months,” says Konami. Coming months? Seems so far away.
