Know Your Friends is Ubisoft’s unreleased Wii U game

Ubisoft and Nintendo used to be the best of buddies. A while ago they decided to give up on the Wii U and their support for the console ended with tremendously late port of Watch_Dogs.

The delay of that title gave the illusion that Ubisoft was still supporting the console, but the company gave up on the way a while back even leaving one game finished and unreleased until ‘the Wii U has a certain market size’.

So just what was that mystery game? Well don’t get too excited, it’s not Beyond Good or Evil 2 or anything like that but instead a game called ‘Know Your Friends’. This game was classified back in 2013 so its existence isn’t surprising we just now know it was that Wii U game.

So what was the game about? Well it was a quiz title focused on multiplayer fun and actually used the GamePad for some of the games. There was even the gimmicky feature of using the GamePad’s inbuilt camera (remember that thing) to put your picture on the cardboard cutout on screen avatar.

So will Ubisoft ever release the game? They aren’t saying but the possibility isn’t high, no matter how much the Wii U sells we imagine.
