Here’s something you didn’t see coming. Nintendo will from today (Europe time) be adding a new channel to the Wii. It’s a Kirby TV channel and will have over 50 episodes of the Kirby animated series. You won’t be able to watch them all at once though as there will be two added each week. An episode will be added each Monday and Thursday. You’ll be able to watch the episodes for two weeks until they add two more new ones.
The channel is coming exclusive to PAL regions and yes, that includes Australia and New Zealand. The rest of Europe is included, that’s UK, Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland, Greece, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Finland. The episodes will be available in English, German, French and Italian.
We suspect the channel will go live the same time that the eShop, DSiWare and WiiWare updates go live. That, folks, is late Thursday night for Australians. Best to just check it out Friday morning.
