Features cameo from cult classic The World Ends With You

The latest TGS trailer for Square Enix’s absurdly alliterative Kingdom Hearts 3D: Dream Drop Distance, has been given the once over by the Internet, revealing a few choice morsels of info. Probably the most exciting is the tentative release date of spring 2012, although that’s the American spring, so anytime between March and May seems reasonable.

Sadly that is the Japanese date and Square did take 5 months to release the last DS Kingdom Hearts here in PAL land. The trailer also had a glimpse of The World Ends With You protagonist Neku, so maybe there’s going to be a sweet cameo? All I hope is that this is Square testing the waters to a TWEWY sequel. Imagine how crazy and overwhelming that two screen mechanic would be in 3D!
