The highly anticipated return of Pit just got a bit more exciting.
Revealed at E3 2011 was a multiplayer mode in Kid Icarus: Uprising. It was a great looking battle mode offering 3-vs-3 deathmatch and a 6-player free-for-all. One big question on everyones lips, though, was whether or not it was online.
However you dont have to worry anymore, well, you can worry less, as Masahiro Sakurai has answered some IGN reader questions, one of them on the very subject of online in battle mode. Heres his response:
"Were still in the middle of looking at the options for the wireless multiplayer mode, and I would say its not totally out of the realm of possibility that we might end up not being able to implement the Wi-Fi online mode, but were moving forward in development with the understanding and intention of making that a feature."
So confusion still remains in the world of Kid Icarus: Uprising, however we now know theyre trying. Though if it doesnt have online we will be very sad pandas.
Also, no word yet on whether the game will have a left-handed mode; you know Im really looking forward to playing this one.
It's Black, Back Again.
If these aren't the coolest graphics...
