In his presentation earlier today, Nintendo President Saturo Iwata confirmed the long suspected delay of flagship 3DS title Kid Icarus. Initially pushed to 2012 in just Europe, Iwata announced that the delay would affect all territories, as the game still needed “more time in development”. Hopefully this is just standard schedule reshuffling and not an sign of trouble for the long awaited sequel.
In the meantime you’ll have to scratch that itch with the upcoming Kid Icarus animes that Nintendo commissioned from some of Japans most prominent studios. Not that we have a date for those either, although they are thankfully confirmed to be getting a worldwide release.
See how much you did, or didn't play things.
