Just Dance is back for another year, and it will also be coming to the the Nintendo NX. More on the consequences of that announcement soon.
Just Dance 2017 offers over 40 more songs, and access to up to 200 more through the Just Dance Unlimited service. The standard version of the game includes three months of this service free.
Some of the big new titles you can dance along to this year include “Sorry” by Justin Bieber and “Worth It” by Fifth Harmony Ft. Kid Ink, off the wall titles like “Po Pi Po” by Hatsune Miku and the far superior option of “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen.
The first tracks revealed at E3 include:
– “Sorry” – Justin Bieber
– “DADDY” – Psy Ft. CL of 2NE1
– “Cheap Thrills” – Sia Ft. Sean Paul
– “Lean On” – Major Lazer Ft. MØ & DJ Snake
– “Worth It” – Fifth Harmony Ft. Kid Ink
– “Don’t Stop Me Now” – Queen
– “PoPiPo” – Hatsune Miku
– “Radical” – Dyro & Dannic
– “El Tiki” – Maluma
– “September” – Equinox Stars
– “What Is Love” – Ultraclub 90
Here’s where things split up a bit – the new mode Just Dance Machine is only coming to current generation consoles including the PC (we suspect this means the Wii, PS3 and Xbox 360 is missing out). This new experience has players testing their dance skills over a variety of different dance types like flamenco, ballet and the cancan.
Controllers! The Wii version supports the Wii Remote, the Wii U version supports not only the Wii remotes but also the Just Dance controller app for your phones.
The NX version? It’s not crazy to think the next Nintendo console wouldn’t support the Wii Remote – they’re just Bluetooth controllers after all, but could the NX have some sort of other motion controller too? If not there’s always the phone option.
Ubisoft says the game will be out in October, we’re 100% sure the NX one won’t be – but that’s to be expected.
See how much you did, or didn't play things.
