Jim Merrick leaves Nintendo

Gameinformer is reporting that Jim Merrick, Nintendo’s Software Engineering Manager, Nintendo Network Marketing Manager, and as of late was Managing Director of Sales and Marketing for Nintendo Europe has left the company.

“”After nearly 12 years with Nintendo, the last three of which were at Nintendo of Europe, Jim Merrick has left the company to persue other interests.””

It was rumored that Merrick would be returning to work for Nintendo of America, however this is obviously not the case. Merrick was most noted for being the PR Guy who revealed the most in his interviews, specifically about the Revolution and Nintendo DS.
