According to a report on the Sydney Morning Herald website, local video game retailer JB Hi FI is going to be selling used games and consoles. JB Hi Fi, which only started selling games in 2005, is moving to take over EB Games’ market.

More Inside But it’s not just stealing market share from EB Games, the profit margin on new gaming products is around 18% with second hand games having a margin of nearly 28%. The strategy is currently only running at the JB Hi-Fi Knox store in Victoria, with other JB stores to follow.
