The usual rewards for reaching the Platinum status on the Japanese Club Nintendo system are quite awesome. In the past, things like the Wii Remote-shaped TV remote, SNES-style Classic Controller for the Wii and even smaller things like the gold Wii Wheel and Mario hats have been pretty good.
This year however, things arent as good with the gifts including a handkerchief set, a collection of badges and a desk calendar. While cool and unique for sure, theyre no way as elaborate as previous years.
In fact the latest update to the Australian Club Nintendo rewards has been quite good with three new t-shirts soon to be added. Sorry Japan, we didnt do it.
