Japanese Sale Charts W/E 26/12/04
The top 100 titles sold a total of 2,373,475 units this week, 143.54% of last week’s total and 239.30% of the weekly average. Market activity has proven vigorous, thanks to the Christmas sales rush being in full swing and the launch of two exciting titles, “”Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater”” and “”Tales of Rebirth.”” Total sales during the same period in 2003 (Week 3, December 2003) numbered 2,123,300 units, and 2,165,045 units in 2002. Coinciding releases of new hardware has made this year more dynamic than usual.
