Japanese retailer lists Sushi Striker for Switch (Update: Confirmed)
Remember Sushi Striker: The Way of Sushido? It’s okay if you don’t, we wouldn’t expect you to. It was shown off last year during E3, and slated to be coming to the 3DS sometime this year, but news has been quiet about it since — until today.
Update 2: The game has been officially announced for June 8th on the Switch and still the Nintendo 3DS.

Update: Rakuten has since removed the listings, so we’ve replaced our links with archived versions. Original story follows.
Japanese retailer Rakuten has listed a few games presumably destined for tomorrow morning’s Nintendo Direct, including Sushi Striker for Switch. Yep, that’s right, it’s coming to Switch too (or instead?). The Rakuten listing has shown off both the box art and the presumed release date — June 22, 2018 — though it’s currently unknown if this date is correct or just a placeholder. Given the Nintendo Direct in the morning, we can’t imagine it’ll be long before we know.
Rakuten also has listings and box art for both Mario Tennis Aces for Switch and Dillon’s Rolling Western: Dead Heat Breakers for 3DS, the latter of which was shown off in a Japanese Direct last year. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on these games when more information becomes available.
…and there’s an audible collective sigh of relief around the globe from the 3DS-less Switch owners…
Great news for me. Now only a port of Monster Hunter Stories for the Switch, and I could sell my N3DS without any regrets 😀
