Nintendo has revealed that the Japanese Club Nintendo website has been breached more than 23,000 times in the past month.
The Japanese site is the only one that has been confirmed to be breached so far, but Japanese Club Nintendo fans have possibly had their full names, addresses, phone number and email addresses compromised. No credit or banking details have taken, however Nintendo has still reset all Club Nintendo passwords.
Nintendo is now looking at strengthening security on the website thanks to this hacking.
While we haven’t been able to confirm with Nintendo ourselves this should not affect the Australian Club Nintendo or any other regional one.
