The Nintendo 3DS is doing spectacularly in Japan with the system just surpassing 10 million hardware sales. It’s made the milestone in 98 weeks as well, not a bad job for a system whose future once wasn’t so clear cut.
The upturn in sales is in no large part to the success that Animal Crossing: New Leaf is having, but also the amount of quality titles that are on the way and that are already on the console. The Nintendo 3DS is week in and week out the best selling console and the top ten games are always littered with 3DS titles.
Better still the 3DS will have in Japan in 2013 titles like Monster Hunter 4, Friend Collection, Pokemon XY, Dragon Quest VII, Shin Megami Tensei 4 and Ace Attorney 5. Just to name a few.
Now if Nintendo can just get the system selling everywhere else just as well, that would be great.
Fatal Fury 2, Super Ninja Boy, Sutte Hakkun
Star Wars: Episode I: Jedi Power Battles, ENDER MAGNOLIA, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Dance of Cards,…
From Mario to Zelda, to Splatoon to Donkey Kong. Everything on Nintendo Music.
Definitively done with the Wii U now.
