Film Noir meets reality TV in this anachronistic puzzle-em up

Ubisoft upset the 3DS status quo today by revealing a release date over a fortnight in advance of the title’s actual release. Professor Layton alike James Noir’s Hollywood Crimes should be available from the 24th on our fair shores. It’s a tough date for a new franchise though, I’m not sure even its one hundred and forty puzzles will help much against Skyward Sword or Super Mario 3D Land, which it is sharing the 24th with. The game promises to use the 3DS’s AR features to include you in a "very realistic" faux 60’s 3D movie.

All the fun of a green screen but without any of the hassle? You can see it on the 24th. Look for our review of the game shortly after its release.
