Doesnt even hint at which titles will be getting said DLC though

Nintendo boss and text based laughing aficionado Satoru Iwata revealed that the company has DLC in the works, as per the recent spate of eShop announcements. The DLC is set to ship for “titles we’re publishing next year” and seeing as he mentioned it during an investor call, it’s likely he means next financial year, which starts in April. So that’s quite a bit of time away and likely even further if Nintendo’s habit of experimenting in Japan first with weird titles stays true.

Still, undeniably exciting news for you fans of paying for extra content, or allowing designers to continue working on more after a game ships. I’m just sad that the company’s going the boring old eShop route instead of embracing the power of Skylanders whole hog.
