Gamespot have posted details of an Iwata interview done with Nikkei business, in the interview Iwata revealed that he wants to Revolution to come out worldwide however still come out in 2006 but within this Finicial Year.

While a total simultaneous release may not be possible, it seems Nintendo are trying to get it as close as possible. Iwata also quickly commented on the Revolution sales figures, saying that “”It would be a complete failure if we didn’t sell more units than the Nintendo GameCube””, The current Gamecube sales figures stand at 18.7 Million as of June.
