Iwata confirms Firmware Update for 3DS to bring refinements
3D Video recording, refined eShop and more on the way
During the Nintendo 3DS Conference 2011 today Satoru Iwata has made mention of a new Nintendo 3DS firmware update on the way that will add several promised features to the system and updates to the overall menu. The update is currently slated for November.
The first feature is finally the implementation of the 3D Video recording that Miyamoto promised for the system way back. The other two announcements were that the eShop will be getting a ’refinement’ and that the Mii Plaza will be improved.
There’s no other details to add to that just yet but we suspect the Mii Plaza updates will feature new games of some sort. Nintendo has stated in the past that they wish to keep people carrying around their 3DS and may have finished the games in the Mii Plaza already.
