In a recently translated round table discussion with the people behind the Opera browser and some interesting points were brought up. Nintendo have been working very closely with Opera in an attempt to get the Internet Channel just right. Nintendo and Opera had quite different views on how it should work and Nintendo even went as far as to make their own prototypes to get their point across. Is that dedication or what?

More Inside The main aspects Nintendo focused on were the user interface. They want it to be as simple to use for the user as possible so they made the buttons big and the point and click aspect easy to follow with the big pointer. The full version will also feature much better zooming, text legibility and loading times.

Something that many people are after us support for an external keyboard for ease of typing, but it is claimed that this wont happen because of incompatibility due to cost issues. Nintendo don’t argue the fact that it would be handy and they would consider the implementation of it in the future.

The full version is scheduled for some time in April.
