Hyrule Warriors release date confirmed for Japan

The latest issue of Japanese magazine Famitsu has revealed some new information and a release date for the upcoming Hyrule Warriors game.
The game as we know is being developed by Omega Force, the usual crew behind the Dynasty Warriors games. In addition the magazine reveals that Team Ninja is also working on the game. Zelda series producer Eiji Aonuma is supervising the development of the title.
Some story details were revealed as well, predictably Zelda gets kidnapped and it’s up to Link to rescue her – her kidnapper? A witch named Shea which is all we know about her.
Hyrule Warriors will be released in Japan on August 14th, a western release date is likely to be revealed at this years E3 Expo.
