Good show.

Announced to a tepid reception, the Koei Tecmo developed Hyrule Warriors has defied all critical expectations and turned out to be quite a great game.

Now it has become a sales success as well with the company announcing that 1 million copies of the game have been shipped worldwide.

That sales figure puts it above other games in the series, that’s the Zelda-less ones. It’s also good to point out that’s copies shipped, not sold but still might impressive. The developers have also released a bunch of cool wallpapers to celebrate.

The Hyrule Warriors fun continues this week with the release of the Majora’s Mask DLC pack. Yay for Tingle!
