Finally, perhaps one of the most requested games is on it’s way to Nintendo Switch and it’s all thanks to a software team in Dundee, Scotland. If you recall, a few weeks ago, Undertale was announced for Nintendo Switch, something that made a lot of people quite happy, that was made possible because GameMaker Studio 2 was announced to now support Switch. Once that announcement was made, some developers took to Twitter, to announce their support and now Hyper Light Drifter is the next game to be announced.
Abylight Studios is currently working on the adaptation to Nintendo Switch closely with Yoyo Games, developer of the engine “GameMaker” used to create the game, as Heart Machine, the gmaes original makers pushed the engine to its limits. Once the development is finished, Abylight will release the game worldwide.
Sadly, we have no date or even window on when this is going to happen, but one can hope for a 2018 release at least.
Predictions time once again.
More than 450 games added this final week.
What a year.
