Switch owners have been begging for media apps to come to the platform ever since the console launched, but despite Niconico coming to the Switch in Japan, Western users have been left in the dark as to when (or if) they’ll get them too.
That is, until today. As always, Nintendo of America issued its weekly Download Report, a listing of all the new games and apps coming to Nintendo platforms each week. In this week’s Download Report, however, was a glimpse of good things to come — Hulu, the popular US streaming service, is said to be launching on the Switch in the US later today.
There’s no information beyond this, and it might be a mistake, but the fact that it’s even listed tells us that other media apps like Netflix and YouTube can’t be too far away.
We’ll keep you updated as the story develops, but folks, get excited; binge time is just around the corner.
