Will take on new challenges outside the gaming industry.

For the past four and half years the public relations for Nintendo Australia has been done by a good friend of Vooks, Heather Murphy. Today she announced that she is leaving Nintendo for a new job in the PR realm, but not in the video game industry.

Heather has been at Nintendo since late 2007 and when she started she didn’t know too much about gaming. It’s safe to say that’s changed now. Heather has been a great public face for Nintendo to the media and to the community at large as well.

We’ll miss Heather here at Vooks. We ask her a lot of crazy and inane Nintendo questions all the time and she’s been nothing but patient and awesome to us since she started. We wish her all the best for her new job.
