For more then a year now if you wanted Nintendo products you were out of luck looking for them in Harvey Norman. Now however the retailer has welcomed Nintendo back into its catalogue.

Whilst Harvey Norman wanted to get on the white hot Wii back at launch, Nintendo gave them the cold shoulder, citing their trading terms as a reason. Times have changed and with Nintendo out for market share they have managed to get the retailer back on terms.

Speaking to Smarthouse, Harvey Norman GM Rutland Smith says, “We now have a good relationship and they are back in the Harvey Norman catalogue with the Nintendo Wii". If you’ve paid a visit to a Harvey Norman store lately you might have noticed this change. The retailer is an important player in the consumer sales sector and having them on-board heading into the holiday season is a vital strategy for Nintendo.
