Get in on the Wii action for $198 this weekend only, oh you get some game with it too

We usually only do bargain round ups for games, but this one needs pointing out as it’s a freaking great deal. It’s also funny too, because it’s from Harvey Norman who used to hate Nintendo. But for this weekend, Harvey Norman is selling both black and white Wii’s for the low low price of $198- that’s a full $100 off RRP (and a full 50% off the original price). You get a copy of Vacation Isle Beach Party too, but really who needs that when you have the following list of games!

Yes we’ve put together a list of more than 20 Wii games we consider to be essentials and no, not all of them are from Nintendo. We’ve also listed some great WiiWare games.

Don’t forget that the Wii only comes with one Nunchuck and Wii Remote, so you’ll definitely want to pick up another set of those for some multiplayer action.

"The best game on the Wii, Nintendo has taken the bar of what a Wii game and a Mario game should be and taken its own advice and shot off into the Galaxy with it. I said the brilliance of Galaxy wouldn’t be replicated in a long time in that review, but clearly I was wrong." Read our Review

"Thankfully, there’s no signs of Ubisoft phoning it in here, with a title that I can recommend without hesitation to younger audiences. It’s understandable, however, that those with more experience with games in general may see it as being too easy, and as such lack any real challenge." Read Our Review
