Happy Birthday to Us – We’re 13 today, here’s our new logo

Today is the day Vooks turns 13 years old.

The site is now a teenager! It’s time for pimples, voice breaking and all that fun stuff that happens when you hit the teens.

Yes we’ve been covering Nintendo in Australia for 13 years now, October 16th 2000 was the date the first version of the site went live and many things have changed since then. We’ve gone from covering the Game Boy Advance and the late years of the Nintendo 64 to covering the Wii U and the 3DS – and everything in between.

To celebrate this occasion we have a new logo, it’s over there up the top of the site, or at the top of this article or even below! We know what you’re thinking though, no it’s not that different to the old one and you might have seen it on the site already – but it’s clean and simple now. Much easier to print onto things.. if you get my drift.

Some thanks now, to you the readers. If you weren’t all such a nice bunch of people we wouldn’t be doing this. We love keeping everyone up to date with all things Nintendo – it’s not our jobs but we feel we have to do it. Otherwise who would? Much love.
