Hands on: Pokemon X & Y Day Trip Kit Impressions
While we haven’t yet got our hands on Pokemon X or Y to review just yet, we did get this in the mail.
It’s a Pokemon X & Y Day Trip Kit for a Nintendo 3DS XL or DSi XL. Of course the original 3DS could fit in there as well if you so wished, obviously it’s not going to fit a 2DS though.
It comes with a case that will fit a 3DS XL and a charger, that’s something a lot of cases forget. The inside of the case is plush so it won’t scratch your 3DS. The outside art design matches the Special Edition Pokemon X and Y red and blue consoles perfectly.
There’s also two little ‘cases’ for 3DS cartridges that are blue and red in colour and two styli. Up on top the of these are two little Xerneas and Yveltal, they’re pretty cool, but they won’t fit into your 3DS – not that it would make much sense to have a legendary Pokemon poking out the side of your 3DS XL.
The Pokemon X & Y Day Trip Kit is out on October 12th the same day as Pokemon X and Y and retails for around $30.
