HAL Laboratory’s first mobile game is now available in the West

Hey, I've seen that UFO before...

HAL Laboratory, known for their fantastic work on Nintendo games such as the Kirby and BoxBoy! series, released their first smartphone game in Japan last November, but now it’s finally available in the West on both iOS and Android devices.

Part Time UFO is an adorable physics-based puzzle game in which you take control of a very familiar-looking UFO to complete odd jobs for the people of Earth. Using a big claw, you’ll pick up items (and sometimes even people) and take them to where they need to go.

Of course, this isn’t the first time a Nintendo-affiliated third party has taken the jump to mobile — with The Pokémon Company having released tonnes of apps and games for Android and iOS over the years — but it just might be the cutest.

You can watch the trailer below, or click the links to download the game for $5.99AUD.
