Gunman Clive comes to the Game Boy… sort of

More of a tech demo than the full game.

Not content with just releasing his games on the Wii U and 3DS eShop, Bertil Hörberg has decided to release his hit eShop game Gunman Clive on the Game Boy. (Sort of..)

Yes, the Game Boy – the original monochrome one. This isn’t the game shoehorned onto the Game Boy, its an original port for the system rewritten in the code styling of the day.

The demo features the full first stage of the first Gunman Clive game and has a few cool features. The game runs at full 60fps, the gameplay is essentially identical to the ‘full size’ versions and there’s even an Super Game Boy colour palette included if you play it on that.

You can download the ROM from the Gunman Clive website and play it on an emulator or somehow on an actual Game Boy should you have the means.
