The Great Ace Attorney gets a sequel

Most likely to stay in Japan as well.

The next entry in the Great Ace Attorney series has been announced at the Tokyo Game Show.

Dai Gyakuten Saiben 2 will once again take place in the 19th century, but it’s not known if the ancestor of Phoenix Wright and Sherlock Holmes, Ryūnosuke Naruhodō will star.

The first games, announced in 2014 and released in 2015 was never released outside of Japan. It’s unlikely we’ll see this one either, but you never know with Capcom.

No platform was announced, but considering the first game was on the 3DS – it would make sense this was.

Capcom also released a 15th Anniversary trailer for the game, it shows all of the games in the Ace Attorney world – even the ones we didn’t get. It is from the Tokyo Game Show after all!
