GoldenEye already outselling Wii version of Modern Warfare

Bond re-imagining selling better than the shoehorned Call of Duty port

Eurocoms re-imaging and re-invention of the classic GoldenEye game has done what we thought wasnt possible, thats to create an excellent new version of the classic GoldenEye game and it seems everyone agrees. GoldenEye 007 is already outselling the Wii version of Call of Duty Modern Warfare Reflex. It hasnt outsold the game, but its already selling as fast over the same period. Speaking on an investor call, Activision CEO Eric Hirshberg has said that "a few days, but its already out selling last years Modern Warfare as Wii SKU for the comparable period."

The impressively shrunk down Call of Duty has sold extremely well on the Wii despite its age, its still far behind the original Xbox and PlayStation 3 sales however. This is of course just over a few days, were not suprised to see GoldenEye outsell it. We were extremely impressed with GoldenEye 007, check out our review here.
