Ghostbusters: The Video Game official picked up by Atari
Well, Ghostbusters: The Video Game has finally (officially) found itself a new publishing home with Atari. The widely recognised publisher has announced the addition of the title to its 2009 release lineup. Working closely with Sony Pictures Consumer Products Inc. and Terminal Reality, the game will be released to coincide with the 25th anniversary of the film’s original theatrical release. More inside Penned by the original writers of Ghostbusters, Harold Ramis and Dan Aykroyd, and reuniting the original cast for the first time in 20 years with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson all lending their voices to their in-game likenesses. Ghostbusters: The Video Game is an original story, set two years after Ghostbusters II, with Manhattan once again overrun by ghosts and other supernatural forces. You know, the usual.
The game will be available for Nintendo DS and Wii, as well as the PS3, PS2, Xbox 360 and Windows PC. Only one question remains: Who you gonna call?
