Get training: The 2014 Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships are coming

Nintendo Australia has announced that Pokémon players will once again be able to compete in the Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships in 2014. If you’re among the top finishers there’s even a chance to win a trip to Washington D.C. to complete at a global level. The 2014 Pokémon Video Game World Championships are to be held 16th -17th August, 2014.

Throughout the year there will be Regional Championships held all around Australia as well as New Zealand.  Players in Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Auckland will all get a chance to compete and win a trip to the Pokémon Video Game Australian National Championships, be among the top there and you could be off to America.

Pokémon X and Pokémon Y are the star games this year naturally and you should learn the rules they’re putting on for this year at the following website.

More concrete dates for the Regional and National championship will be coming soon.
