Generation 1 classics get the Mega Evolution makeover in Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire

The latest issue of CoroCoro magazine in Japan has revealed two more Pokemon receiving Mega Evolutions, two of them are old favourites from Pokemon Red and Blue, Beedrill and Pidgeot. Latias and Latios also join the mega party.

Mega Pidgeot and Mega Bedrill both keep the same type when they mega evolve but gain new abilities. Mega Bedrill get Adaptability which increases damage to another Pokemon with the same types as him. Mega Pidgeot gets No Guard Ability. Its attacks will always land no matter what accuracy.

Latios is exclusive to Omega Ruby and Latias is exclusive to Alpha Sapphire.
