GDC: World of Goo wins best downloadable game
2D Boys unique WiiWare puzzle game World of Goo has won best downloadable game at this years GDC Developers Choice Awards. The bizarre goo-ball-engineering game has beaten out high-profile contenders Braid, Castle Crashers, N+ and Pixel Junk Eden for the award, which is voted upon by registered attendees at the 5 day-long conference. The game was developed by just two people- former EA employees Kyle Gabler and Ron Carmel on a modest budget. Full list of winners inside.
