We are back. Having stopped these updates for a while, thanks to events like E3 and the then slower than the normal news cycle, we are picking this back up. In order to make it easier for people to catch the bigger games, we are also changing the format a little, while we are still aiming to catch all the games announced, we will now highlight a few each week and then list the remaining. So with that said, let’s get to it.
Originally released back in 2013, the most recent game in the Broken Sword series is now coming to Switch. Paris in the spring. Shots ring out from a gallery… A robbery… a murder… all are only the beginning of another epic adventure. Playing as intrepid American George Stobbart and sassy French journalist Nico Collard, you find yourself on the trail of a stolen painting – and a murderous conspiracy. A conspiracy whose roots lie in mysteries older than the written word… Armed only with logic, integrity and a wry sense of humour – can George and Nico save mankind from disaster?
Switch gamers will now get the chance to experience this incredible adventure games, where you will play as a little robot who’s been thrown out to the scrap yard behind the city must return and confront the Black Cap Brotherhood and save his robot-girlfriend. Players will be able to solve many logical puzzles, adventure quests, brain teasers and mini-games, all set against backgrounds and characters are 2D hand-drawn and combined feature well over 1 hour of animation.
Players will get to take on the role of Red in this puzzle adventure game, coming to Switch this month. Red’s Kingdom is a single-player adventure puzzle game where the Mad King Mac has kidnapped your father and stolen your golden nut, yep, that old chestnut. Players will need to solve puzzles and battle goons as you explore and battle your way through the kingdom.
So here are the other games announced during the week, now these are not worse than the ones above, they are just the rest of the games announced. The ones above, as stated earlier are the games that we think could be something special. The games here will have links to their trailers (if they have one), social channel and their main site (again, if they have one)
Get in quick, they go fast.
