Games announced for Switch this week – 29/04 – 05/05

Another week and another batch of games announced for Switch and much like last week, it is quiet, but not too long now, before we learn all about what games are to come as E3 is getting closer and closer. But enough of that, it is time to Whoa!

The Fall

We got the sequel earlier in the year, now developer Over the Moon is bringing the first chapter to Switch. Here, players take on the role of ARID (Armoured Robotics Interface Device), the artificial intelligence within a high-tech combat suit, whose human pilot has been rendered unconscious. It’s up to players to take control of the suit and drag his lifeless body towards help through the game’s brooding, atmospheric environments.

 

Etherborn

Etherborn is a gravity-shifting puzzle-platformer where you play as a voiceless body in search of your meaning as you explore dreamlike, Escheresque levels. Traversal is built around your unique sense of gravity that anchors you to any surface you touch.

 

Coffee Crisis

Coffee Crisis is an neo-rogue brawler that puts you in the shoes of the only baristas on Earth with enough heavy metal in their veins to fend off an alien assault. Play solo or join up with a friend to fight across eight unique locations ranging from your Coffee House HQ to the far reaches of outer space.

 

Disco Dodgeball Remix

A ridiculous physics-based sport-type-thing, Disco Dodgeball Remix offers up a crazily intense mix of arena-based first-person shooter and classic dodgeball—all played by killer robots whose lethality is only surpassed by their quirky charm. Initially self-published by Erik Asmussen under the name 82 Apps, ZEN Studios are bring it to consoles this year.

Chicken Assassin: Reloaded

Play as Mean Mcallister, the baddest chicken in town, the living embodiment of what would happen if you combined Rambo, Foghorn Leghorn, and a bottle of hot sauce together. Spritzel and his evil henchmen have kidnapped your beloved Candy, and you must punch, shoot, and slice your way to Candy’s heart in this outrageous story with over-the-top humor that boasts a myriad of colorful enemies and visually stunning levels and environments.

 

A few other titles were announced, but we will need to wait until BitSummit around mid-May, in order to get more details on them, games like Gunbrid 2 and Black Bird should be there.
