A quiet week, but merely the calm before the approaching storm
A quiet week in terms of games announced, but not for those released onto the machine, but as we get closer to E3, expect the game announcements to slow down, as things tend to happen around this time each year. But enough of that, let’s transform and roll out.
Apart from having quite the name, this entry in the Guilty Gear series was in fact released back in 2006 and has spent the last 12 years, getting tweaked, enhanced and improved in just about every way the developers could imagine. With 25 fighters to choose from, including fan favourites Kliff Undersn and Justice, an included art gallery and more, there is a lot to discover. This also marks the Guilty Gear’s core series debut on a Nintendo platform.
Qubic Games has announced they are working to bring the mobile title, Jumping Joe to Switch, as Jumping Joe & Friends. Instead of just the main game, the Switch version will also contain hero characters and a multiplayer party mode.
You can watch the video here, it Autoplays, so be wary.
Three Fourths Home: Extended Edition is a visual short story that explores the emotional ties of family relationships. In her mid-20s, Kelly has been forced to move back to Nebraska. Back to that flat expanse, that seemingly endless sea of rustling cornstalks peppered by rusty silos and rustier towns. The Extended Edition also includeds an epilogue that expands on the story of the main game.
Jujubee has announced that Realpolitiks will be coming to Switch, keeping all the elements of the PC version, but in addition it will also contain the latest DLC titled “New Power”. The release is expected to hit the market in Q3 2018. Choose your own method of coping with other nations’ interests, unexpected events, global threats and various crises. Deal with the disintegration of the European Union, the expansion of Islamic State, the aftermath of World War III and many other real and fictional scenarios.
In Path To Mnemosyne, players will take part in a hypnotic journey, where the camera merely zooms in and out. Walk the path, explore your mind, and recover all lost memories by solving dozens of imaginative puzzles. All that combined makes Path to Mnemosyne a bizarre and memorable gameplay experience for any player.
Like I said, a much quieter week, but don’t despair, things will pick up as we get close and close to E3. Nintendo outlined some of their plans for the show as well, so there is plenty to look forward too.
It's Black, Back Again.
