Nintendo Australia today annouced the drop the RRP of the GBA SP to $149.95AUD from $199.95 which is a full $50. The Price drop is effective from the 16th of September. Game Boy Advance SP, which is front-lit and sports a clam-shell design, has sold more than 20 million units worldwide, and will continue its dominance with an impressive lineup of games.

Effective September 16th, Nintendos record-breaking Game Boy Advance SP will sell at an all-time low suggested retail price of just $149.95, a full $50 less than its current suggest price. The reduction significantly expands the potential audience of an already-dominant consumer electronics device to a wider range of consumers.

Game Boy Advance SP, which is front-lit and sports a clam-shell design, has sold more than 20 million units worldwide, and will continue its dominance with an impressive lineup of games. Before the end of the year, Nintendo will launch titles like Pokmon FireRed, Pokmon LeafGreen, Mario Pinball Land, Final Fantasy I & II and NES Classics. Further strengthening this line-up are exciting third party titles such as Fairly Odd Parents: Shadow Showdown, Hot Wheels Stunt Track Challenge, Spongebob Squarepants: The Movie and WWE Survivor Series.

Game Boy Advance SP is available in Platinum (Silver), Onyx (Black) and Cobalt (Blue).
