Just over a year ago, Nintendo mentioned that Gameboy Advance games will eventually be making their way to the Wii U virtual console.
Today it was announced that we will finally see them in our living room soon. Scheduled to start releasing this April, some killer titles are lined up to mark the debut of the Game Boy Advance hitting the virtual console.
The excellent Metroid Fusion was first to be named, along with Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga and Yoshi’s Island: Super Mario Advance 3. If it’s any indication of what the future holds for us, Japan’s initial line-up includes The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap, Wario Land 4, Mario Tennis Advance, Advance Wars, Wario Ware, F-Zero and Golden Sun.
Hopefully Nintendo can keep up the slew of great handheld titles to make their way to the Wii U Virtual Console when they start hitting this Autumn. We’ll be sure to keep you updated on which Game Boy Advance games make the cut in our weekly eShop updates.
