GAME sorry as lorry full of Splatoon Limited Edition is stolen
Bad news for some UK Splatoon fans as a literal truckload of Splatoon Limited Editions has been stolen on the way from Nintendo Europe’s headquarters to GAME’s.
This means that the customers affected will never receive the limited edition copy of the game which in Europe is the only way to get the Squid amiibo. They are instead being given a discount, a copy of the standard version of the game and the two boy and girl squid amiibo separate.
“We are working with GAME to contact those customers affected. Whilst these unfortunate circumstances were out of Nintendo UK and GAME’s control, we apologise for any inconvenience or disappointment that this has caused.”
Disappointing news, a hard enough to find amiibo already now in the hands of thieves.
