Game Critics Awards vote Wii best of E32006

The verdict is in, the Game Critics have awarded the the Wii Best of Show E3 2006. The Wii beat out Assassin’s Creed, Bioshock, Gears of War and Spore for the top honour. Nintendo also won various awards such as best hardware with the Wii, best handheld game with Zelda: Phantom Hourglass, Excite Truck took out best racing game, and the ever popular Wii Sports won in the Best Sports game category.

Good Job Nintendo! Now all we need to know is when will be playing the Wii (or in my case again).
