There’s more coming to the mid-level checkpoint update for Super Mario Maker than previously announced.

Nintendo’s Japanese Twitter account has announced that alongside the game update the stage created by Arino from Game Center CX will be one of the first event courses in the game.  Not only that but once you finish the stage you’ll unlock the costume for Arino and be able to use it in the game anywhere.

The kicker, both he and the stage will be available across all regions. We’ve also learned that the update for the game will drop on November 5th at 10am local Japan time. That’s around lunch time on the 5th for Australia in the Eastern States and 9am for the west.
