The Game Corner in Goldenrod no longer has slot machines. Replaced with Voltorb Flip

When the Australian Classification for Pokemon Heart Gold and soul Silver pinned the game at a G rating and without Gambling references we knew something was up. That something was (like Pokemon Platinum) the removal of the Gambling slot machines from the Game corner.

But how else do you get coins for the coveted prizes? The slot machines have been replaced with what the Official Nintendo Magazine website is calling a cross between Picross and Minesweeper. The game has a 5 x 5 square with 25 squares, behind each tile is a number or a Voltorb. Hit a Voltorb and its game over over, if you hit a number your coins multiply until you hit a Voltorb or give up. Clues at the end of each row help you out, somewhat like the clues in Mastermind.

The Gambling Machines we know and love might be gone but this replacement seems like it might be pretty fun, perhaps its not all bad.
